Welcome to the Bahá’í community of Calderdale. The Bahá’ís in Calderdale are a local part of the national and worldwide Bahá’í Faith community. We come from different backgrounds and countries but share a faith that inspires us to work peacefully together to try to achieve the spiritual and practical unity of the beautifully diverse human family.

Our community is based around Calderdale and the Calder Valley – an area of towns and villages such as Brighouse, Elland, Greetland, Halifax, Luddenden, Mytholmroyd, Ripponden, Sowerby Bridge and Todmorden.

Here you can find out a little bit about who we are, what we do, our events and latest news, and how to get in touch with us. You may also like to have a look at our new bicentenary page, which explains about the 200th anniversary in 2017 of the birth of the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh.
